The Women

I watched this movie today. Four friends all with separate personalities, separate relationships, separate problems, and an affair.
I honestly don't know how I would ever handle a situation such as an affair should it ever arise. My husband and I have the most amazing relationship. We love each other with all we have and show it as much as possible.
Sometimes I wonder "what would I do without him?", but on the other hand, I am without him often enough.
I know that no matter what happens in my life, I will be just fine. I handle two amazing children, I have wonderful friends, goals, dreams. While I would want nothing more than to share all of this with my husband, I know that I am able to do it on my own if I ever had too. I get security in knowing that.
A gift was once given to me, a poem in a frame with the title "Marriage Takes Three".

I once thought marriage took
Just two to make a go,
But now I am convinced
It takes the Lord also.

And not one marriage fails
Where Christ is asked to enter,
As lovers come together
With Jesus at the center.

But marriage seldom thrives,
And homes are incomplete,
Till He is welcomed there
To help avoid defeat.

In homes where Christ is first,
It’s obvious to see,
Those unions really work,
For marriage still takes three.

So many people take it all for granted, so many question the Lord and His plan, even I am guilty. But I do try to live my life as best as I can, learn from my mistakes, and accept Christ into my home.

Jesse and I accept each other for who we are, as cheesy as it may sound, we really do complete one another. Nothing will ever come in between us as long as we stay on the right path.

My mother and father are proof of that, they have been through many ups and downs and are more in love today than ever before. They give me hope and inspiration, and with that, I am confident.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.

To my Friends.

Since my family and I have moved to Hampton Roads, I have been so blessed with the new friendships that I've made.
I value all of my friendships as much as I value my family. To live the lifestyle of a military wife, friends become your second family. I just wanted to take this time to put it out there.

Karen, I love you so much. I have never met someone so compassionate and caring. You have been such an inspiration to my soul. I know you have gone through a lot over this past year and you should know that I will always be there to listen.

Chelle, you and I have so much in common! Both being from Texas, we can relate to one another and I love that! True Texans know what Dr. Pepper really tastes like. I love our trips to Walmart, although they are few and far between.

Ashley, someone who never ever gives up. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am for you and Josh. You may think you've had a wonderful life together but just wait until November... your lives have only just begun and I am so thankful that I will be here to watch you and Josh turn into amazing parents. I'll always stalk you!

Mindy, one of my very best friends in this entire world, I miss you so. I miss going to "On the Border" with you and chatting with you on cafemom. I miss having that someone I can run to with my lamest rants and you'd always listen and tell me to get over it lol. I hope to see you again soon.

Audrey, we've know each other since the 7th grade. Although, since we have graduated, we have lived in separate states, we've managed to stay in touch through the years and watch our children grow. I love you!

Michael, my newest friend, you are a very special person. You bring out the best in people (big, small, tall, short,) through your photography and that's so wonderful. I only wish to be as good as you some day. Thank you so much for everything you have taught me, all the long phone conversations, and adventures shooting.
